Today I finally moved into my own flat, well, to be shared with a flatmate that is, but with some help, i got myself a toaster, borrowed a keyboard/stand, and very basic toiletries and groceries.
It’s expensive living here. But like Di had said, it is tricky but doable.

I thought i’d warm up the room (now chilly and feels like Genting Highlands) with some singing and playing on the uke.
School had started but it doesn’t feel like much, I believe i’d fight for more classes.
And get on practice soon.
Tomorrow’s CNY gig is pretty exciting, having to sing a language so familiar and close to me, and share it in a ‘westernised’ country, i feel really excited and happy…
it’s as how most people say, when thrown into a foreign place, left on your own devices, you tend to grow even closer to your own roots in time.

I had an idea to broadcast a part of it live on blogtv but we’d see.
But on top of that, taking the inspiration from Vivian Lim, i plan to do a mini-live concert as a welcome and hello thing to my loved ones in Singapore. Apparently in China, NY lasts for like a good 2 weeks, like Christmas. So the mood’s still going and we wanna ride on it.
In a week or two, one of my little dreams may just be fulfilled.
