I asked Di, whassit like to finally get to know someone you’d respected and admired from below the stage.
I was so excited to just get to meet her, so not to mention working with her.
My previous perspective and expectation and framework of the music scene is quite challenged, happily broken and quite excitingly chaotic.
The tremendous joy of creating, music, art, stories.
This is not something one can sit and conjure. Your eyes need to be opened.
And mine were… I love that i’m challenged. And i love the lack of contentment but the desire to seek, explore, grow. That, is my contentment.
Not money, not fame, not popularity.
This is definitely not something any of the above can buy. I am so blessed for these mobile classrooms, and generous spirits.
