Right after our launch of “White Noise Live” (with my band “White Noise Quartet“) at Esplanade Outdoor Theatre, we had a date with the very bubbly and energetic LOVE97.2FM DJ Leelian.
It is always good to play for Leelian, a singer herself, who enjoys jazz and has been most supportive of local indie artistes.
Upon her request, we had been tested to perform the festive classic “We wish you a merry x’mas” impromptu. And what delightful fun that was. The icing for me that evening might have been “夜来香“ since it’s also a rather significant celebration for the Chinese.
