Thank you all who supported Uncanny Sounds at Esplanade, our debut in Singapore.
Many thanks to Nor, Mac, Wan and all sound/lighting crew.
I realised from where i was sitting, that it’s the people that we love, that makes the show so special. Sharing the stories, nothing false, everything transparent, even the fears and the lil’ surprises.
It all melts away. There’s joy and peace. I thank God for everything beautiful tonight. For blessing the shows from soundchecks, to song order-ing, instrument and audience.
Like all other live shows, they aren’t perfect, but seeing dear musician friends, and some of my students pop by, i feel that i’m not afraid to tell these people my thoughts and stories through music.
This gift of music is indeed a real blessing.
We hope that everyone took a piece of our joy and laughter into their lives through the music we made and performed tonight.
Thank you lovelies.

Rushing down to the 2nd gig at Capella Hotel at Sentosa was a feat in my tiny car, being pretty provisional at this point in time still! But smack on time, entered after the instrumental set. Thanks to Mario, Marcus, Boon Gee. True privilege to be under these fantastic musicians and mentors and friends. Grateful for the opportunities to learn under them.
The highlight of the night for me was Let there be love. Sung the 2nd time in the day for Uncanny and for this, but it’s always different, my heart beats for jazz for spontaneity for honesty for love.
